Success Story: With An Eye Toward Tomorrow

The Challenge:

In 2017, Cascades Inc. wanted to create world-class leadership development for its high- potential leaders. With its continuous growth, it became very apparent the company needed to build its bench and align its leaders with its culture and values.

The Solution:

Catapult and Ivey Business School partnered to do this by offering innovative experiential learning with the latest research and cutting-edge content. Catapult led the organizational design and transformation tied to strategy and Ivey has applied its expertise to bring to life an innovative learning solution that is on the cutting edge of trends.

The Outcome:

We customized three programs based upon key competencies that aligned with its culture and graduated 10 executives, 35 vice presidents and 130 leaders. Since graduating, 44% of the vice presidents and 27% of the leaders have been promoted or transferred internally. The feedback from the participants and their leaders expressed better engagement with teams, more effective communication, improved performance, better cross-functional team experiences, higher EQ, and a bench that is ready.
